Sitno Hill (1009 m above sea level) is the highest hill of the Štiavnické vrchy Mountains and a favourite destination of tourists. Many legends are connected with the hill and once upon a time there was a medieval castle Sitno, the ruins of which still remain today. There is a lookout tower and a television transmitter at the top of Sitno, offering a wide view of the surrounding countryside. The ascent to Sitno leads, for example, from the Počúvadlianské jezero along a marked hiking trail.
