The Počúvadlian Lake is the most popular taich in the Štiavnické Hills, only 10 km from the centre of Banská Štiavnica. It was created in the 18th century as part of the mining water management system to collect water for the mines. Today it is a popular summer recreation spot - it offers the possibility of swimming, boating and relaxing in nature. A hiking trail leads from its shore to Sitno Hill, which rises above the lake.
